LAHORE: A photograph of former prime minister Imran Khan from his Lahore go to on Sunday has gone viral and drew criticism from netizens.

The PTI chairman was within the provincial capital on a day-long go to throughout which he chaired a number of conferences together with one with Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi and former federal minister Moonis Elahi on the CM Workplace.

The image of the assembly during which the PTI chairman was sitting on the chief minister’s seat went viral, triggering a storm on social media with many questioning his authority to take a seat on the provincial chief government’s seat.

The within story

Giving inside details about the assembly, senior anchorperson Hamid Mir mentioned, “lots of people are criticising Imran Khan for sitting on the chief minister’s seat however they’re unaware of the small print as to what had occurred there.”

Mir mentioned that it would not occur like that, nobody does this on his personal.

When Imran Khan went to the CM Punjab workplace to congratulate Pervaiz Elahi on his victory, Mir added, he was pictured sitting on the CM’s seat whereas assembly the PML-Q chief.

“Upon arrival at his workplace, Pervez Elahi requested Imran Khan to take a seat there however the PTI chairman informed him that it’s his seat. At this, Moonis Elahi mentioned we bought this due to you [Imran Khan] so that you sit there.”

So, the daddy and son duo, the veteran journalist mentioned, pressured Imran Khan to take a seat on the chief minister’s seat.

“I believe, Imran Khan ought to have been cautious and will need to have averted regardless of their insistence.”

Social media backlash

Many social media customers, journalists and politicians slammed the PTI chairman and termed it an “ill-mannered” transfer.
