The retention of #MaryamNawaz expanded for 14 days in Chaudhry Sugar Mills case

Lahore: The physical remand of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) Vice President Maryam Nawaz and her brother Yousuf Abbas was expanded by an Accountability Court on Wednesday for another 14 days.

A day ago, in a bid to regulate demonstrations, Indian occupying powers arrested 30 individuals overnight in Srinagar.

Crowds have frequently exhibited in the town amid a serious mobile and internet service clampdown and a ban on government meetings and hundreds of political officials and separatists being detained.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s move this month has also boosted conflicts with Pakistan, claiming Kashmir and accusing India of violating human rights in the land at the core of over 70 years of conflict between them.
