NowNews Exposed: More than 25 officers, including senior police officers, have been involved in China’s cutting and illegal sale of public land in the Gulistan-e-Jauhar, Karachi – Anti-Corruption officials said.
Anti-corruption establishment, East in Karachi is investigating the issue of China cutting and illegal sale of public land in Gulistan-e-Johar. Authorities revealed that the block eleven land was seized in 2013 and more than 25 officers, including a DIG and two SSPs, were involved in the corruption.
Investigation also revealed that employees of Revenue Department, Karachi Development Authority (KDA) and Sindh Building Control Authority were also involved in approving maps of fake papers in China Cutting.
The court has handed over three suspects, including two policemen, arrested for land grabbing to seven days of physical remand on anti-corruption and further investigation is underway.
