RAWALPINDI: A Pakistan Military soldier was martyred throughout an trade of fireside with terrorists within the Information Khel space of North Waziristan, Inter-Companies Public Relations (ISPR) stated Sunday.

In a press release, the army’s media wing stated: “Personal troops fought bravely and successfully engaged the terrorists’ location.”

President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi paid tribute to Shahzeb whereas reacting to the information of his martyrdom.

“The nation is united in opposition to terrorism and the struggle will go on until the scourge of terrorism is totally eradicated,” the president stated.

Two terrorists killed

Final week, two terrorists have been gunned down in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) within the normal space of Hassan Khel of North Waziristan District, the ISPR stated on the time.

In keeping with ISPR, safety forces had launched the operation on the reported presence of terrorists.

“Throughout intense trade of fireside, two terrorists have been killed. Weapons and ammunition have been additionally recovered from the killed terrorists,” stated the ISPR.

It added that the terrorists have been actively concerned in terror actions in opposition to safety forces.
