Tom Cruise’s newest launched motion sequel, High Gun: Maverick, continued to dominate the home field workplace.
Whereas the movie, which is the sequel of the 1986 traditional High Gun, has scored $100 million throughout its opening weekend and gained large reward from the viewers, has acquired backlash from actress Leah Remini.
The Kings of Queens star, 51, has blasted High Gun: Maverick and Cruise in a Twitter put up over his connection to the Church of Scientology.
Remini, who’s a former Scientologist, has warned followers that Cruise, 59, remains to be an energetic member of the Church.
Taking to Twitter on Saturday, Remini shared a screenshot of her pal, ex-Scientologist Claire Headley’s Fb put up that accused Cruise of selling “a harmful cult that destroyed my household.”
“Thanks to my pal @claireheadley in your braveness. You will have continued to talk out regardless of the continuous assaults from Scientology,” Remini tweeted.
“And as Claire says in her put up under, Tom Cruise is aware of precisely what goes on in Scientology. Don’t let the film star appeal idiot you,” she posted.
Headley famous the Mission Inconceivable star as selling “a harmful cult that destroyed my household too, the identical cult that nearly price me my marriage and my life.”
“So no, I can’t watch the film, nor will I ever assist or approve of this rip-off of a person,” Hadley wrote.
