Srinagar: Indian military assaulted Muharram procession, wounded several mourners including journalists.
In the Srinagar region of Hassanabad, Indian troops assaulted Muharram al-Haram procession with tear gas and pellet guns, leading in injury to several mourners, including Kashmiri reporters.
After personal liberty in the occupied valley, Indian troops also assaulted religious liberty at the Muharram-ul-Haram procession and shed tear gas on Shiite Muslims. Several individuals were wounded as a consequence of the violence of the Indian Army, and several were arrested by the occupying powers.
The Indian official also broke the camera of a journalist during the vio, according to the Kashmir Media Service.
Fearing protests, the Modi government has also banned the Ashura procession in the occupied valley.
