Indian troops in occupied Kashmir have subjected thousands of Kashmiris to custodial death over the past twenty-nine years in their unabated state terrorism, and the victims ‘ families have no data about their whereabouts.
According to information published by the Kashmir Media Service Research Section, after being picked up by Indian troops, police and paramilitary forces, more than 8,000 Kashmiris have disappeared in custody.
The study claimed thousands of unnamed graves were found in the land, and human rights activists were afraid that these graves might belong to the Kashmiris who had vanished.
