In Islamabad, a high-level meeting chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan is underway to discuss the country’s polio situation.
The session will be briefed on the counties ‘ measures to eradicate the polio virus.
The session is joined by Dr. Zafar Mirza, Special Assistant on National Health Services, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan Chief Ministers, and Punjab and Sindh Chief Secretaries, among others.
The meeting will also be attended by representatives from Bill and Melinda Gates, the World Health Organization and UNICEF.
