Gen. Xu Qiliang reaffirms full support of China for Pakistan

Chinese General Xu Qiliang’s Vice-Chairman of the Central Military Commission (CMC) on Tuesday called on Prime Minister Imran Khan to reaffirm China’s complete backing for Pakistan, especially at this key juncture.

Emphasizing the significance of the long-tested strategic relationship between China and Pakistan, he expressed the dedication of the Chinese leadership to the long-honored tradition of helping each other on problems of key national interest.

General Xu leads a high-level delegation to Pakistan to tackle issues of shared concern to Pakistan and China, PM Office Media Wing said in a press release.

During the session, Prime Minister Imran Khan highlighted the distinctive value of the all-weather strategic relationship between Pakistan and China, defining it as an anchor for peace and stabilization in the region and beyond.
