Cate Blanchett and others put on all-black to mark their respects to the Queen at Venice Movie Pageant

Hollywood stars paid tributes to the late British monarch, Queen Elizabeth II on the closing ceremony of the Venice Worldwide Movie Pageant on Sunday.

Celebrities together with Cate Blanchett and Julianne Moore wore all-black outfits for the night to mark their respects for the Britain’s longest reigning monarch, who handed away on the 96 on Thursday afternoon.

The Carol actress, 53, graced the purple carpet in a surprising one-shoulder ensemble as she attended the premiere of her upcoming noir thriller, The Hanging Solar.

Blanchett wore her blonde tresses in an elegant up-do and completed her glam look with silver jewellery and minimal make-up.

Moore, 61, wore a voluminous black outfit that featured an off-the-shoulder neckline. Se styled her purple hair in a pulled again modern low bun.

Flaunting her blossoming child bump, Jessica Brown Findlay, 32, opted for a structured strapless black robe with shimmering particulars. She completed off her glam look with matching heels and added a pop of coloration by carrying vibrant purple lipstick.

In the meantime, the Buckingham Palace has introduced that the state funeral for Queen Elizabeth will likely be held at Westminster Abbey at 11am on Monday 19 September.
