Australian Cricket officials briefed on security status in Pakistan

Representatives of Cricket Australia have reviewed the security status at a briefing in Islamabad before their team’s tentatively scheduled visit to Pakistan.

Chief Executive Officer and Director Pakistan Cricket Board also accompanied the Australian delegation to the Ministry of Interior.

Secretary Interior Major (retired) Azam Suleman Khan briefed the delegation about the overall internal security situation of Pakistan. 

Australian cricket team is tentatively scheduled to visit Pakistan in the year 2020/21.

The delegation showed satisfactory response to the briefing they received and hoped for a full-fledge return of International cricket to Pakistan.
