KARACHI: Following the Inexperienced Shirt’s loss towards Sri Lanka within the closing of the Asia Cup 2022, veteran Pakistani all-rounder Shoaib Malik slammed the nationwide crew for “prioritising friendships over advantage.”

Slamming the “liking”  and “disliking” tradition, the previous captain of Pakistan’s cricket crew stated that it has “destroyed the crew”.

Malik was dropped from the squad for the Asian mega occasion.

“When will we come out from friendship, liking & disliking tradition? Allah all the time helps the sincere,” Malik tweeted, following the house crew’s loss towards Sri Lanka by 23 runs within the event.

Pakistan did not chase the goal of 171 and solely managed to attain 147 runs, whereas Sri Lanka’s bowling line-up claimed wickets of the Inexperienced Shirts and lifted the coveted Asia Cup trophy.
